"As for criticism, do it in good time; don't get into the habit of criticizing only after the event." ~Mao Tse-Tung
Side Special: Objection!
Mr.Wright strikes his famous pose and releases a mighty "Objection!", sending projectile weapons back in the direction they came (Much like Mario's Cape)
Special: Present Evidence
Phoenix has a large ammount of murder weapons from various trials in his court record. Use his special to strike his opponents! But be wary, there are times where this fails. Oh no, you seem to have gotten broken glasses instead of that Thinker Statue you wanted...
And this one will make sense if you've seen the begining for Trials and Tribulations
Final Smash: Nightmare Judge
Phoenix often has nightmares about a demonic, purple skinned, red-eyed version of the judge. With Mr.Wright's final smash, this dark lord of the justice system will bang his mighty gavel upon his foes!
"GUILTY! YOU'RE ALL GUILTY!"
...sorry. ^__^;

The creatures around here all suck. We need to make 'em cooler.

Well, seeing as he's a lawyer I'm sure Faustian Pacts enter into it somewhere. Ace Attorney or not we know where all lawyers end up.
I have the feeling the down special move should involve red tape some how, or maybe a swarm of legal briefs. Personally I love Phoenix Wright, but there are just too many lawyer jokes to pass up.
What's next, Edgeworth as an Assist Trophy?

Couple Extremism is wrong. Stop shoving it in unwilling users' faces.
(For those that agree with me, you get a free cookie. For those that don't, you're on your own.)
However, I would like to see this though. In tribute to Wright and Edgeworth battling together, what if there was...
Wright AND Edgeworth!
(The famed attorney and the prosecuting prodigy team up to fight together outside of the courtroom!)
Wright: Since he knows that a swift mind and keeping the enemy on their toes is needed to get that not guilty verdict, Wright focuses on combos. He runs faster than Edgeworth does and his attacks have better combo potential. However, his attacks are a little weak and don't have a lot of knockback.
Note: Phoenix uses the shield from the King of Prosecutors Trophy for some of his smashes (Case 5 of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney)
Edgeworth: Edgeworth has to keep the opponents on the defensive with powerful blows the defense's arguments and whittle it away to nothing. Powerful blows are necessary to put the most holes in a defense's argument, so Edgeworth focuses on powerful attacks with high knockbacks. That's not to say he CAN'T combo, but he can't combo as well as Wright can.
Note: Edgeworth uses the halberd/knife from the King of Prosecutors Trophy for some of his smashes
Final Smash:
Psyche Locks!
Edgeworth and Wright both shout "TAKE THAT!" and the colors instantly invert. The entire playing field is frozen in time as chains come and lock up the entire playing field with five psyche locks. Evidence rains down from the sky as numerous 'TAKE THAT' s are heard from both Edgeworth and Phoenix, and the enemies accumulate damage.
Then, when it's all over, all the psyche locks break, and the characters go flying.
Ha ha, anyway, that's just me
